Mold Odor is a challenge to clean and remove. Mold odor is often confused with mildew odor as they are very similar in that they have an old musty smell. If there is a musty smell it is likely that there is mold spores in the air and could pose a grave health concern. O3 can stop the mold and eliminate the mold odor.
Admirable Inspection Services is offering odor elimination services for mold odor in residential and commercial buildings at the molecular level as ozone is a gas and can penetrate anywhere the odor can.
How Does It Work?
Once an appointment has been set, Admirable Inspection Services will need your building to have no inhabitants, pets, or plants for 24 hours. Once the building is ready, we use commercial ozone shock generators to completely remove the mold odor from the building at the molecular level, guaranteed! The process from start to end takes about 24 hours.
Ozone is a natural element in the air we breathe every day and is compromised of three molecules of oxygen. The ozone shock generators generate high concentrations that remove odor but is safe for the environment. In extreme cases, Admirable Inspection Services may have to use a special cleaning agent as well as the ozone shock generators.
Admirable Inspection Services will do mold odor elimination in surrounding areas as well, including St. Albert, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Sherwood Park, Devon, Fort Saskatchewan, Ardrossan, Acheson, Leduc, Calmar, Beaumont, Bruderheim, Morinville, Nisku, Gibbons, Camrose, and Villeneuve and more. Extra mileage applies.
What Types Of Mold Are There?
The media refers to mold as “black slimy mold”, “toxic black mold”, and “killer mold”. Currently, there are over 30 000 different types of mold species and many believe there is a lot more varieties. Some common types of dangerous molds are:
Stachybotrys are the most dangerous and their symptoms are:
- respiratory issues
- nasal and sinus congestion
- eye irritation
- sore throat
- hacking cough
- chronic fatigue
- central nervous system issues
- aches and pains
Stachys, as they are referred too for short, have been linked to hay fever, liver damage, pulmonary edema, and in the most severe cases, brain or nerve damage and even death. Infants and the elderly are particularly susceptible to Stachys and can become very ill when they are exposed to Stachybotrys and in worse case even death.
Cladosporium, Fusarium, and Penicillium:
Are not as dangerous as Stachybotrys but still have the potential to cause allergic reactions, hay fever, nail fungus, asthma, and also infections of the lungs, liver, and kidneys. Fusarium has been linked to gastrointestinal illnesses and even complications to the female reproductive system. Chronic cases of Cladosporium may produce pulmonary edema and emphysema.
Aspergillus is the least toxic of the mold groups and has over 160 subspecies of which only 16 effect humans and they can all be treated by a doctor.
My Promise to You
Choosing the right inspection service provider can be difficult. Unlike most professionals you hire, you probably won’t meet me until your inspection appointment–after you’ve hired. Furthermore, different inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment, experience, reporting methods, and pricing. One thing that’s certain is that a thorough inspection requires a lot of work. Ultimately, a quality inspection depends heavily on the individual inspector’s effort. I guarantee that I will give you my very best.
